The Origin of the organization name and its spirituality

Red_rose2   “Rosae Christi” is a Latin word which means the “roses of Christ”. It expresses the special bonds that unite the members of this large family.

This spirituality finds its roots in the words of Paul the apostle: “For we are to God the fragrance of Christ.”  (2 Cor 2, 15) Thus, the organization attempts to fill the society with the perfume of Jesus.

Rosae Christi, through the daily life of the members, tries to enter profoundly into the mystery of Jesus Christ, guided by the way of life of her two patrons:

The Virgin Mary, the rose of the Sharon, the fragrance of Lebanon, who accepted  the word of the Lord in her life and her heart, meditated on the mystery of Jesus, and went to serve those in need.

Saint Theresa of the Child Jesus: under her guidance, our association seeks to participate in spreading the “roses of graces” promised by the holy nun of Lisieux.   In this way, our association tries to be one of the roses of grace, in order to console brothers and sisters in distress.
